I am a lifelong lover and caretaker of animals,so it was with much pleasure that I embarked on a career in pet sitting.
Besides loving animals and wanting to be around them,I`ve always been fascinated with all pets.How animals relate to their
owners and each other,behavior,and the history of domestic animals.But most of all,just how animals think.Scientists are
just beginning to explore the realm of animal emotions,and are putting a finger on what many of us have known for years,
ANIMALS HAVE FEELINGS!
My Name is Chris Antonucci and my love for my own pets began at an early age when Vets made house calls. Back in the
1970`s my little french poodle-Jeanine was a happy,healthy dog. Our family would occasionally board her when we went
on vacation. Unfortunately,she eventually died when after one trip she picked up a disease at the kennel we would use.
This was devastating to me and my family,so I decided that I would never let this happen to anyone who loved their pet.
So it was a personal decision to become a professional pet sitter who could care for all animals in their own homes.
My company PET PATROL is a pet sitting service that has been a calling to me as a profession and business owner.
After my decision was made I started working in a pet store many years ago and learned all about pet products.
Food,supplies,accessories and all things that are related to the care and well-being of any family pets. I cleaned up,
fed,and spent time getting to know cats,dogs,birds,fish and small animals. This became my training to eventually be
a pet sitter and was some of the best experiences of my life. Seeing and interacting with all different animals and
their owners was a great job. After a few years as an employee I wanted to strike put on my own. My brother was
also a pet sitter before I became one and he showed me how to run a small business and succeed as an owner.
Now after 6 years as the owner and operator of PET PATROL I have established myself as a reliable and trustworthy
pet sitter in New Haven,CT. These years of self employment have been a wonderful and rewarding Career for me.
